Terms of Service

Last updated: 31 March 2026

Please read these terms carefully before using JobHand. By creating an account or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. About JobHand

JobHand (jobhand.com.au) is an AI-powered job recommendation platform designed for Australian job seekers. We help you discover relevant job opportunities by analysing your skills, experience, and preferences, and matching them against roles aggregated from publicly available job boards across Australia.

2. User Accounts and Responsibilities

When you create an account with JobHand, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration and while using the platform.
  • Keep your login credentials secure and not share your account with others.
  • Notify us promptly if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account.
  • Use the platform only for lawful purposes related to job seeking.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, misuse the platform, or engage in any activity that disrupts the service for other users.

3. Subscription Plans and Billing

JobHand offers the following paid subscription tiers:

  • Pro — A$19.99 per month
  • Career — A$39.99 per month

All subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will continue to have access to paid features until then.

We do not offer partial refunds for unused portions of a billing cycle. Prices are listed in Australian dollars (AUD) and may be subject to change with 30 days' notice.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law. If you believe you are entitled to a refund under the Australian Consumer Law, please contact support@jobhand.com.au.

4. Your Data

To provide our services, we collect and process the following types of data:

  • Job preferences — such as desired roles, locations, salary ranges, and work arrangements.
  • Resume data — the content of resumes you upload, including skills, experience, and qualifications.
  • Job interaction history — which recommendations you view, save, dismiss, or apply to.

We use this data to personalise your job recommendations and improve our matching algorithms. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at support@jobhand.com.au.

For full details on how we handle your information, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

5. Job Data and Third-Party Sources

Job listings displayed on JobHand are aggregated from publicly available Australian job boards and third-party sources. We do our best to keep this information current, but we cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or continued availability of any job listing.

JobHand is not an employer and does not post jobs directly. We are a discovery and recommendation tool. Always verify job details directly with the employer or the original job board before applying.

6. AI-Generated Content

JobHand uses artificial intelligence to generate content including, but not limited to, job match scores, personalised recommendations, and cover letter drafts. This content is produced by automated systems and may contain errors or inaccuracies.

You should always review AI-generated content before relying on it or submitting it to a potential employer. JobHand does not guarantee the accuracy, suitability, or quality of any AI-generated output.

AI services used by JobHand are provided by Anthropic, Inc., based in the United States. Your data — including resume content, skills, preferences, and job descriptions — is transmitted to Anthropic for processing. For more information on how your data is handled, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

7. Limitation of Liability

JobHand is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, about the reliability, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose of our platform.

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, JobHand and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of employment opportunities, loss of data, or loss of revenue.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to these terms or your use of JobHand is limited to the amount you paid us in subscription fees during the 12 months immediately preceding the claim.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of JobHand will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will give you at least 30 days' notice via email or an in-app notification before the changes take effect. Your continued use of JobHand after the updated terms come into effect constitutes your acceptance of those changes.

We encourage you to review these terms periodically so you stay informed about your rights and obligations.
